Project 597-2017 – Development of Canadian Water Quality Guidelines for Nickel using the Biotic Ligand Model and Other Approaches

Project Description:  The Contractor will assist the Project Team in developing a long-term freshwater Canadian Water Quality Guideline (CWQG) for bioavailable Ni in accordance with the Protocol for the Derivation of Water Quality Guidelines for the Protection of Aquatic Life (CCME, 2007) that accounts for toxicity modifying factors using both traditional approaches (i.e., simple linear regression, multiple linear regression) and with an acceptable chronic biotic ligand model (BLM) as well as a simplified BLM-based model.
