CCME's Soil Quality Guidelines Task Group (SQGTG) is responsible for the development of Canadian Soil Quality Guidelines for the protection of environmental and human health; guidance on other soil quality and contaminated site-related activities; developing and maintaining the Canada-wide Standard for Petroleum Hydrocarbons in Soil and the requirements under it.
