The success of the project is entirely dependent on there being committed
and generous project partners willing to work together to achieve the projectís
objectives.
In Canada, all environment departments in CCME are partners, contributing
time and expertise, in kind.
In addition, numerous agencies, companies and organizations in Canada
have contributed time and resources for tours, information sessions and
technical discussions. These include: The Fraser Basin Council, Canada
Centre for Inland Waters, BC Hydro, Molson Breweries, Montreal Urban Community,
Ontario Hydro,Vancouver Harbour Commission, and the Lake Simcoe Conservation
Authority.
In Russia, there are groups of partners in Irkutsk and in Moscow.

In Irkutsk, key partners include the Siberian Academy of Sciences, City
of Irkutsk, Irkutsk Regional Duma, or legislature, the Regional Committee
on Ecology and the Angara ñ Baikal Management Authority, plus numerous
individuals.
In Moscow, key partners include the city and region environmental protection
departments, the city and regional dumas, academic institutions, joint
stock companies and members of environmental non-government organizations,
as well as interested individuals.
